St. George's Donuts, a Springfield, Missouri based locally-owned donut shop needed a fun way to promote their store and its brand. Charles, the store's cartoon character, which was loving developed to resemble Charles St. George, the late husband of Katy St. George seemed like the perfect choice. I Pour Life is a non-profit that teaches life-skills to at-risk youth in foster care. They wanted to encourage kids to do what’s right for others, even when it’s hard, thus the “Raised to be brave” campaign was born. To create demand for Keurig coffee in the casual dining segment we produced a campaign that included a key account mailer and a fully executable point of sale campaign including: menu recipe development, menu inserts, to-go cups, take out carriers, coasters, buttons, and more (in less than 2 weeks).
Hello Cocoa's chocolate bar wrapper is printed four color offset with a gold spot color. For their limited holiday sipping chocolate however, we printed a smaller number, requiring us to run it digitally and choose a CMYK mix of the gold to match the gold PMS color. This is a fairly difficult process to achieve a successful color match between different print methods.
Future Great Coffee - For the holiday's in 2015, the agency wanted to thank clients with a unique food or beverage inspired gift. They decided to partner with a local roaster and created it's own unique coffee blend, and brand it Future Great (which has a story). Add a custom-made zarf (fancy name for coffee cup sleeve), a fabric deep tag sewn on the zarf, enamel coffee cup, box packaging and tray (to hold gift snuggly), assembly and shipping --- you end up orchestrating careful planning and coordination with 8+ different vendors.
Nestlé - We produced a food inspired direct mail piece to help Nestlé's team set appointments with key accounts for an upcoming industry trade show. The concept and it's gift reflects the trade show event's camping theme. I worked with six different vendors to source the hobo knife, have the knife engraved, purchase custom made and printed wooden boxes, and have the interior tray printed to hold the knife. We hand assembled 30 boxes and individually shipped them.
deep New Business Mailer - The goal was to generate a dynamic mailer that engaged and created interest in deep's services. The team played up the deep dive theme with a business card sized, perfect bound services booklet and an individually wrapped Swedish fish sealed in a sardine can. These items were nestled into a custom tray and box wrapped with a branded belly band sticker. I worked with 7+ different vendors to bring it to life.
In addition, our PR Director was campaigning to be elected to an industry association's board so the team used the remaining Swedish fish, rolled them up into a a mini newsletter and she handed them out at the event. It was so well excepted some of the recipents tweeted about it.
